Maxome Finch Dental Care
COVID-19 Protocol

Dear Patients,

From your Maxome Finch dental care team, we hope you are staying safe and healthy. As restrictions start to lift in Ontario, we want to assure you that we continue to be here for our patients. Should any patient be in need of our services, we will always be available Mondays to Fridays 9AM to 5PM and Saturdays 10AM to 3PM. Our practice is taking extra steps to ensure the safety of our patients and our team. Don’t hesitate to reach out should you need anything – we’re always here for you.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS

We regularly check for COVID-19 symptoms and take each staff member’s temperature and mandate 14-day quarantine as needed. We also ensure appropriate personal protective equipment for all staff members.

FOR EVERY PATIENT

We screen in advance and at point of contact for COVID-19 symptoms, including a temperature check. Although we ask all patients to bring their own protective face mask to their office visit, one will be provided for them if they don’t have one. We also provide shoe covers.

IN BETWEEN PATIENT VISITS

We disinfect rooms and surfaces, as well as sterilize instruments, in our procedure rooms and operatories.

IN THE RECEPTION & WAITING AREA

We continually disinfect all surfaces and provide hand sanitizer to both staff and patients and wipe down chairs in the waiting area. We have filtration units in the common areas – reception, staff room and Doctors’ offices. We have hand sanitizers in different areas of the office for easy access to hand sanitation.

DAILY

We clean all floors and high touch areas to ensure all areas are disinfected and fully sanitized. We use a fogging machine with Vital Oxide, which has been approved by both EPA and Health Canada for use against SARS-CoV-2 and the Corona Virus that causes COVID-19.

IN EVERY OPERATORY

Our operatories are equipped with medically graded air filtration with HEPA filter to help with

removal of airborne particles.

We have HEPA filtration units to aid in the removal of airborne particulate for the safety of our patients and our team. Also every operatory room has its own window and therefore fresh air during and between each patient.

on top of that we have 30 minutes  buffer between each patients.
